  1. Talking a scene through with contributors on the We'll Go Down in History shoot.

    Creative development

    Concept, treatment and script, developed with you - from a one-line brief to a film worth someone's attention.

  2. Directing Anna Friel and Russell Tovey on the beach set of The Sea.

    Production

    From branded content and commercials to documentary and narrative film - including documentary brand films and live, multi-camera event coverage. Director-led and sized to the job: shot on our own Sony FX3 package, or fully crewed from a proven network when the brief needs scale.

    Post-production

    Editing, sound design and colour grade in-house, with specialist finishing talent from the same network when a film calls for it - through to the social cutdowns and platform versions a campaign needs.

    A plan for where the film lives and works: campaign and social distribution for brand work, and the impact and festival route that has carried our documentary work to audiences worldwide.

Lonely Kite is a London production company: a proven network of creative collaborators, led by director Cameron Richards.

We make branded documentary, campaign films and commissioned work for brands and charities. Recent clients include Coca-Cola, Snap, Sainsbury's, the Football Supporters' Association, Young Minds and the Pret Foundation.

Every project runs development to distribution under one roof: concept and script, a shoot sized to the brief, finishing, and a route to its audience.

The same network carries our own films - documentary and narrative work that has played festivals worldwide - and that authored eye is what clients commission.
